Current Research Work
1.      Current Research in Progress/Brief description
Investigating Effect of Feedback and Support by Virtual Agent, in a Computer Supported Collaborative Learning System (CSCL).
When students collaborated in groups, there tend to be differences in how well students contribute. This research work/project will investigate how feedback and support can be optimally provided by a virtual agent to the group as a whole and the individuals in the group in the context of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning System. It will investigate what adaptation  required for example to students’ personality, special needs, level of contribution, and competence.
This is being studied in the context of E-learning, with students collaborating using an online course management system. An empirical computer science approach in conjunction with Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) Model of Collaborative index is the approach being used.
Series of experiments will be run to test the hypothesis of what will work best.
